The distinguishing characteristic between the first two plans is based upon project responsibility (Client - Limited Scope, or, CBC - Project Based). The third is a long term, reduced rate for either Limited Scope or Project Based consultations.

$125/hour (minimum $500)

CBC's Limited Scope plan is distinguished as a staff consulting project. The client is the active project manager with CBC consultants available as advisory personnel.

A project definition, preliminary assessment - planning meeting is no charge. In most cases preliminary analysis will yield a projection of the estimated number of hours required beyond the minimum.

We can respond for a Preliminary Analysis meeting, in most cases, within 72-hours. An Internet Technology Application Proposal (before you start spending on Internet marketing research or development) may be better considered a Project Based, single fee consultancy, qualifying for a lower hourly rate if the project minimum is met ($2,500 - see below).

Project Based

$100/hour (minimum $2,500)

CBC's Project Based plan is distinguished as a line consulting project. CBC is the active project manager following project definition by the client and a consulting service agreement signed.

Assistance with project definition in two preliminary assessment - planning meetings are at no charge. All single fee projects are limited to the single fee for the specified project elements attached to the service contract. Client directed and approved additions to a project  are at the reduced rate of $100/hour.

Annual Retainer

$75/hour ($750 minimum, per month, per year)

CBC's Annual Retainer Plan may be for either CBC project responsible consulting - more often understood as "outsourcing" for departmental needs (line or staff). or as staff directed personnel. The primary distinction of this plan is to be competitive at "outsource" cost effective rates as measured against internal hiring. The minimum is 10-hours per month.

The Annual Retainer Plan will most often apply after a mutual confidence has been established following a limited scope or single fee project.

Terms and Conditions

Both Limited Scope and Project Based Fee remittances are 50% due at signing of a Contract for Services agreement, and 50% immediately upon completion.

Monthly retainers are due, in advance - by end of month - for a following month's service.

Hourly rate extensions are invoiced for the month incurred by the end of such month, and are due upon presentation separately from any regularly scheduled monthly retainer remittances.
