Since 1990, San Francisco-based Guest has been an incorporated sole-practice attorney specializing in general business, business litigation, estate planning and real estate. From 1983 to 1990, he was a founding partner in the Walnut Creek firm of Sehr, Lamb & Guest. There he concentrated on his legal specialties of general business, estate planning and real estate.

Prior to Sehr, Lamb & Guest, he worked as an associate at Sehr & O'Connor, Inc. in Walnut Creek. There he advised clients and drafted documentation relating to general business, estate planning and civil litigation.

Guest had a private practice in Sacramento from 1981 to 1982 when he worked as an independent contractor for local attorneys while completing his MBA degree. Before attending law school, he was assistant controller for a Georgia-based corrugated container business that did approximately $7.2 million in annual sales.

Guest’s cumulative experience includes 12 years as an attorney representing business owners and managers in legal matters and four years experience in manufacturing plant operations. He is an established self-starter with the ability to work independently, which has made him an ideal working director in CBC Communications Corp’s "virtual company" environment.
